GSI Feast on East Postcard Show

East Gippsland Art Gallery, Bairnsdale will host the annual GSI Feast on East Art Prize for regional postcard art and an exhibition of digital art inspired by the food and wine of East Gippsland.
Drop in and vote for the People's Choice Award before 6pm Friday 7th March Exhibitions Opening and Awards night

First prize: $1000 donated by Gippsland Secured Investments
Second prize: Weekend for a family at Waterfront Retreat, Wattle Point
Highly Commended: Dinner for two at Kingscove Club, Metung
Peoples Choice Award: Twelve bottles assorted fine wines from Nicholson River Winery
(please note voting for the People's Choice Award closes 6 March)

Entry fee is $5 per card or $15 for a set of 4 cards (15% of the entry fee will be donated to Pelican's fundraising for the Bairnsdale Regional Health Service).There will be a 10% commission applicable on works sold.

Lindenow Paddock to Plate Photo Documentary

The Mitchell River Flats Food Chain – A photo documentary by artist Lisa Roberts

Lisa has commenced a documentary of images that profile the families and workers that produce our food from the Mitchell River vegetable growers and pickers to the One Harvest Vegco fresh cut processors. Sponsored by One Harvest Vegco the exhibition will give audiences a new perspective on the food producing community of East Gippsland.

Local artist John McKenzie will exhibit a series of his very unique paintings of domestic goddesses, his cows as well as his more human goddesses to be enjoyed by the regular patrons and visitors who enjoy the highest quality regional pub food at the Main Hotel

Nowa Nowa artists are Open for Inspection.
A stunning exhibition by 18 of East Gippsland's best artists that have transformed a house into living art at Nowa Nowa.
The community will celebrate with music, games and circus and Mike Ryan of Mingling Waters will drum up delicious regional culinary treats.
