In association with  the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival, the World's Longest Lunch aims to encourage and reinforce food and wine tourism to regional Victoria by showcasing the regional culinary strengths.

The Village Green will come alive with shared conviviality at Metung’s inaugural World’s Longest Lunch. Seated in this unique outdoor setting at one long continuous table, you will be treated to culinary delights prepared by local chefs and the staff & students of the East Gippsland TAFE. Utilizing the best of Gippsland produce, this three course luncheon will be complemented by some of the finest Gippsland  wines.

Lunch will commence with a glass of sparkling wine together with a little light music. During lunch our special guest musical waiter - Edvardo Iguano - will entertain you. To round off the lunch, Kim Blay will provide a lively musical finale.

Make sure you are a part of this unique, and most memorable, epicurean event.

The organizing committee gratefully acknowledges the support of the following: The Feast on East Festival, Metung Business & Tourism Association Inc., East Gippsland TAFE, the Metung Hotel, Nicholson River Winery and local chefs and restaurant staff
